Meet our Team

Lauren has over a decade of experience working with children ages 0-19 and their families in a variety of settings including schools, homes, and community settings. Lauren holds a Master’s in Education and Applied Behavior Analysis, a degree in Child Development and a Certificate in Integrative Behavioral Health. Lauren is also trained in Sensory Integration Disorder and has vast experience helping families and children identify and learn to create individualized routines for enhancing self-care and self-regulation to increase independence and autonomy. Lauren has worked with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Sensory Integration Processing Disorder, ADHD, ADD, ODD, OCD, anxiety, depression, and selective mutism. Lauren has created and facilitated workshops for educators, for parents, and for other therapists. 
 

Lauren believes that by creating family structures and meaningful routines, we offer our children and teenagers a reliable and safe place to reconnect and regulate emotions. When we, as parents, are able to step back from our day-to-day stressors and conflicts with our children, we can see larger patterns of behavior that have valuable implications in how we proceed in creating healthy, functional relationships with others and with ourselves. By taking a holistic view of a child or teen and their family, we are better able to fully meet needs and create stronger relationships.
