Weather permitting, our counseling sessions are offered outside during a walk through the gardens & meadows at The Highlands Mansion and Gardens. Our compassionate approach incorporates Nature-Informed Therapy (NIT), designed to help young individuals build resilience, improve their mental health, and foster meaningful connections through the healing power of nature.
During this one-on-one counseling session your child will discuss specific hardships they are having and together, work towards positive solutions. Individual sessions are available in person and virtually for 45 minutes.
Reinvent Counseling’s curriculum is a psycho-educational and process style group. The curriculum was created and designed by Kelly Coutts, a high school counselor, and behavior therapist. The psycho-educational focus of the curriculum teaches teens new coping strategies and the “process” focuses on practicing their new skills and connecting teens with each other in a safe place.
